The Iris
The Iris takes its name from the Greek word for “rainbow,” and personifies the link between heaven and earth. Through its intricate history, the meanings of the iris has come to include faith, hope, and wisdom. I painted the Iris in a geometric pattern that conveys both the beauty of the flower and the intricate world around it.
